  dedicated to those who thought they were the only ones.... the only one.

  a troubled child with vacant eyes sits quietly alone with not much to say,.

  he killed her puppy and said she would be next if she told her friends at play.. a father who betrayed her trust, violated her innocence and left her emotionally numb,.

  I must admit when I first was comming out of mind control I thought that you were making a mountain out of a mole hill. Now as my head is clearing and I'm able to think in a more rational way, I feel sorry that I ever felt that way.

  I have a grand-daughter that is being raised a JW and I feel what you are doing will make it a little safer for her and other children.

  As a former elder I can say sometimes we are too concerned about our own ASS and not about these little ones. And I would like to ask any elders who are lurkers, do what you can to help these poor defenseless children, alot of people have made the sacrifice to do so, what about you?

  They need more money, can anyone help?

  we had our local needs part on this tonight!

  it was truly an excellent part, he literally made me cry it was so touching...i won't name the whole list he named, but he gave different examples of zeal...it isn't just going out in service, it means much more..here are some of the points he brought out..... 1.zeal is the older sister who despite her chronic illnesses which keep her feeling her worst, is never missing from the meeting, even though she might be more comfortable at home.. 2. zeal is the young child who has the courage to go up to the watchtower study conductor and ask to called on in a specific paragraph, and raises his hand anyway even though he knows the comment is already his or hers.. 3. zeal is the old couple in the hall whose only means of living is social security, but yet they always find something to give jehovah during each month.. 4. zeal is the single publisher or pioneer servant, who is drained of energy from working, but who is always in service no matter how tired they are.. those are just a few of the ones he mentioned.. can you give some examples of what zeal is?

  secondarily, the question has been: are jehovahs witnesses really jehovahs witnesses?

  or, perhaps worded differently: is the watchtower really the voice of christs appointed faithful and discreet slave of prophecy?

  My wife hates him with a capital H, so I play loud when she out of the house.

  Emails like this show how dangerous some veiw unfettered truth.

  I can just imagine if we were back to medieval times and the JW was the religion of the Empire they would probably put you in the mask and pour molten hot lead down your mouth, and think even that treatment would be good for you.
  Alan is so right if given the chance some would kill, that's the way mind control is, it gets people to do the unthinkable, and think nothing of it.

  Did Ray Franz write COC out of anger?

  i asked my gf who is a jw but not an active one if she has ever read coc and she tells me she has and that his book was mostly lies about the organization and that's the reason he left was because he was tempted by a hooker and ended up sleeping with her.

  he told the elders what he did because he was looking for help and he ended up getting df.

  later he found out he ended up contract hiv.

  Thanks for help to feel the pain and alonness of innocent children.
  I think we need to be able to feel their despair, to do the right thing ourselves, to be ready to protect them.
